20 trees challenge. I am starting to realise how much skills I lack in 2d.

The top right and the one next to that one was done by sampling colors directly from the photo refs.

It's only pencilling and practice that's needed so take it easy, and I just say that in reply to your comment; these trees aren't half bad.
