Description
I have finished the textures as well, this is the final version. It is not a shiny piece of art, and certainly not the best I can do, but I am getting a bit tired of the process (documenting, translating).
Modeled in Blender 2.63, process documented.
Textures were done in Photoshop, but they are only simple dirtmaps (Switching to new Gimp soon)
Still, I hope you guys like it.
Again, I have to mention that the concept is not mine, I just modeled and textured the thing. Original concept design is from Mihály Nagy (~misi006), and any compliments or comments on the structure of the gun, proportions etc. should go towards him tpp, since I can't change too much, as I don't want to mess his work up.

Part 3:

BlendSwap will soon get the files as I finsih the third part.
IMPORTANT:
This model is not yet ready for a real time environment. This stencil method won't work with most of the engines. The professional, or official way is to unwrap everything, make a color map, a specular map and if needed, a normal map. I use Blender's internal layer structure to get this effect, and I am not sure if this could be exported and used as it is.

Quite cool! Can be used as a pickaxe when it runs out of ammo!
